As leaders we know that complaining about a situation is a waste of time. It changes nothing.
So how do we choose between changing the situation, accepting it, or leaving it?
The answer is to get clarity on who we are and who we want to become.
Then we find that every ‘problem’ becomes an opportunity:
- to fix the situation
- to fix and improve the situation
- to fix and improve the situation and learn what would have prevented it from arising in the first place
And all we need to do is choose the alternative that best leads us towards becoming the person we want to become, whether change, accept, or leave.
